The one and only fan favorite football club established in England was officially founded in 1886 in Woolwich, England. Arsenal was actually formed by the group of workers from the Woolwich Armament Factory that used to produce arms and weapons for the country. They called themselves Dial Square. Arsenal got the first victory over Eastern Wanderers which they won by 6-0 on December 11, 1886. That was the real enjoying moment for the players and over a short period of they too changed their club name as 'Royal Arsenal'.

Some players from Nottingham Forest joined 'Royal Arsenal' to aid them to win the cup and they were successful after nearly 20 years. The famous Red Shirt of Arsenal was thought to be their spare kit but the Red Shirt changed their destiny.

By the time they get into the Second Division they were at the Plumstead area but the 'Royal Arsenal rented nearby Sportsman Ground at Plumstead Marshes. That was the place Arsenal started their dream to be in the London Senior team. It is said failure is the pillar of success. Although Arsenal lost their match against Barnes in second round, they were unstoppable and maintained their pace at that moment. Afterwards they rented Manor Ground in nest season which was comparatively well equipped and was a better home ground.

Royal Arsenal appeared THE FA CUP for the first time in 1889/90 at the same ground. Arsenal was lucky enough to secure a hat-trick in winning 3 cups; London Charity Cup, The Kent Senior Cup and The Kent Junior Cup. That was the time Arsenal was really in developing stage. The club once again move their home ground to Invicta Ground for Six years.

Success for Arsenal meant every thing to them at that time and they wanted to secure a promising position in Professional Football Academy. That was against the law at that time so they were expelled from the FA Cup. During those hard time Arsenal changed their name as Woolwich Arsenal. The rent at the Invicta Ground was increasing and Arsenal was out of money so, they had no choice rather to return their old ground Manor Ground. Manor Ground became their home ground until they moved to Highbury in 1913. After they moved to Highbury their playing style changed and the team spirit increased leading them to secure a good position in Football League's Second Division.

They again regained their pace, a pace to win. By 19th century they were promoted to Division 1 in 1903. After nearly three years they reached Semifinal in THE FA CUP. They were financially poor and they could not afford new players and therefore they were relegated again. Henry Norris was the Arsenal's Chairman and he recognize that the club must need a good ground and they moved to Highbury. After two years at Highbury, Arsenal removed Woolwich and the Club was named as 'Arsenal FC'

When World War 1 ended the First Division was increased by two clubs out of which Arsenal was one. Under the supervision of new manager Leslie Knighton, Arsenal achieved a moderate success but chairman Norris was not satisfied so he introduced a New Manager a Yorkshireman, the Herbert Chapman who changed the face of Arsenal FC.

Arsenal became the first football club from south to join England football league in 1983. In 1913,Arsenal moved to north to Arsenal Stadium in Highbury. In total Arsenal have won 13 premier leagues and 10 FA cups. By 1930, they had won 5 league championship titles and two FA cups. The 21st century was more favorable to this club as they were unbeatable in 2003-04. They had 49 matches unbeaten and made a national record. Therefore they were named "THE INVINCIBLE".

Arsenal have a long lasting rivalry with the nearest neighboring club TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR. They have regular contest which is called "North London Derby". The rivalry started when Arsenal in 16th century invaded Tottenham Hotspur and captured them. Arsenal was regarded the third most valuable club in the world in 2010.

Arsenal moved to Emirates stadium in May 2006 which is situated 500 meters from the Emirates stadium at southwest direction. The Emirates stadium can hold up to 60,335 people. The stadium was named after the sponsor, The Emirates Airline company.

Arsenal's players practice at Shenley Training center at Hertfordshire. Arsenal football academy is regarded as the best football academy in whole Europe as they warmly welcome to all sex, religion and age group players and establish a great football competition among others.
